S&rsquo;il ne me \u00ab pla\u00eet \u00bb gu\u00e8re spontan\u00e9ment, \u00a0ce tableau \u2014 Georg Scholz (1890 &#8211; 1945), <em>Kakteen und Semaphore<\/em> [Cact\u00e9es et s\u00e9maphores], 1923, huile sur panneau dur, LWL, Munster \u2013 peut \u00eatre retenu comme totem de la <em>Neuesachlichkeit<\/em>, dans l&rsquo;exposition\u00a0\/ Allemagne \/ Ann\u00e9es 1920 \/ Nouvelle Objectivit\u00e9 \/ August Sander \/. Les cact\u00e9es s&rsquo;y pr\u00eatent,\u00a0elles sont peintes comme des objets sans vie. Leur pr\u00e9sence de\u00a0nature morte s&rsquo;associe \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre tableau qu&rsquo;est l&rsquo;ouverture en lui donnant paradoxalement un semblant de vie parlante, dans le langage des s\u00e9maphores. Mais il me vient que si la Nouvelle Objectivit\u00e9 m&rsquo;a int\u00e9ress\u00e9 pour son passage par l&rsquo;objectif, l&rsquo;objectif de l&rsquo;appareil photographique, facteur de distanciation comme d&rsquo;ironie critique, elle donne ici des objets \u2014 peut-\u00eatre comme dans notre \u00ab Vie des objets \u00bb \u2014 qui m&rsquo;importent, pour les collecter comme pour les produire&nbsp;: les cact\u00e9es, succulentes, crassulas&nbsp;; les pots en troncs de c\u00f4ne.
