Vernissage de l&rsquo;exposition <em> N\u00e9on,Who&rsquo;s afraid of red, yellow and blue&nbsp;?<\/em> \u00e0 La Maison rouge, boulevard de la Bastille, Paris. Attractif. Et d&rsquo;ailleurs, il y a un monde fou. Maintenant on ne fait plus attention aux risques de chocs \u00e9lectriques ou de bris de verre que font courir ces \u0153uvres aux visiteurs. En 1983, nous avions d\u00fb fermer <em>Electra<\/em>, au Mus\u00e9e d&rsquo;art moderne, le temps de mettre une barri\u00e8re autour d&rsquo;une \u0153uvre de Dan Flavin faite de tubes fluorescents. Or, le n\u00e9on demande des tensions bien sup\u00e9rieures. Mais ne nous plaignons pas de la proximit\u00e9 retrouv\u00e9e avec ces \u0153uvres. Il y a quelques jours, ayant \u00e0 imaginer un projet d&rsquo;exposition qui croiserait lumi\u00e8re et \u00e9criture, il m&rsquo;est venu \u00e0 l&rsquo;esprit de r\u00e9unir des \u0153uvres en n\u00e9on. Mais j&rsquo;ai imm\u00e9diatement rejet\u00e9 cette id\u00e9e simpliste, consid\u00e9rant que les pi\u00e8ces se tueraient litt\u00e9ralement entre elles. L&rsquo;exposition de ce soir confirme \u00e7a, mais pas enti\u00e8rement. Les pi\u00e8ces, certaines d&rsquo;entre elles, sont suffisamment singuli\u00e8res et sign\u00e9es, rattach\u00e9es \u00e0 des projets d&rsquo;artistes. Il reste que l&rsquo;effet <em>magasin<\/em> \u00e9tait in\u00e9vitable. D&rsquo;autant que la plupart des n\u00e9ons d&rsquo;artistes citent ouvertement les enseignes, quand ce ne sont pas de pseudo <em>readymades<\/em>.
