Achet\u00e9e au Mus\u00e9e Mingei (Mingeikan,\u00a0\u65e5\u672c\u6c11\u82b8\u9928) \u00e0 Tokyo le 10 f\u00e9vrier (Voir \u00ab Mingeikan \u00bb&nbsp;: <a href=\"https:\/\/jlggb.net\/blog2\/?p=4040\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/jlggb.net\/blog2\/?p=4040<\/a>), cette assiette fabriqu\u00e9e (\u00e0 la main) \u00e0 la poterie Nakai (qui existe depuis la p\u00e9riode Edo, pr\u00e9fecture de Tottori, sur la c\u00f4te nord du sud de l&rsquo;\u00eele Honshu, Japon) fait partie d&rsquo;une s\u00e9rie con\u00e7ue en 1956 par Yanagi Sori (\u67f3\u5b97\u7406, n\u00e9 en 1915 \u00e0 Tokyo). Un classique du renouveau du design japonais dans l&rsquo;esprit Mingei d\u00e9fini par Soetsu Yanagi (1889-1961), fondateur du Mingeikan \u00e0 Tokyo en 1936, p\u00e8re de Sori Yanagi. Au contraste des couleurs juxtapos\u00e9es (et ici imbriqu\u00e9es), s&rsquo;ajoute le contraste entre le verniss\u00e9 et le mat. Sori Yanagi vise ainsi une forme moderne qui, si elle s&rsquo;inscrit dans un style et une technique traditionnelles, s&rsquo;accorde \u00e0 un emploi occidental. L&rsquo;esprit Mingei s&rsquo;opposait \u00e0 l&rsquo;artisanat aristocratique et luxueux, rep\u00e9rait de beaux objets dans l&rsquo;artisanat populaire et donnait en exemple des objets ordinaires, anonymes, utiles. Si Sori Yanagi l&rsquo;applique \u00e0 des objets industriels \u2014 qui n&rsquo;\u00e9chapperont pas au luxe, comme son tabouret <em>Butterfly<\/em> (1953) \u2014 on peut comprendre les politiques de Muji ou d&rsquo;Uniqlo comme les versions actuelles du Mingei, avec un certain cynisme du marketing puisque les objets, r\u00e9put\u00e9s non sign\u00e9s, se d\u00e9couvrent de grandes signatures comme Mori, Fukasawa, Morrison, Grcic, Hecht, Mari, etc. (Jill Sander chez Uniqlo). L&rsquo;exposition manifeste <em>Super Normal<\/em> de Jasper Morrison et Naoto Fukasawa en serait un autre avatar, plus explicitement engag\u00e9 et l&rsquo;opposition radicale d&rsquo;un Enzo Mari au trop plein de design un autre encore.
