Mais c&rsquo;est dans l&rsquo;avant-derni\u00e8re salle, celle des natures mortes, qu&rsquo;on est arr\u00eat\u00e9 par <em>Pommes<\/em>, 1919. La pr\u00e9sence tangible d&rsquo;un C\u00e9zanne est traduite dans la facture d&rsquo;un Ingres. L&rsquo;\u00e9tiquette imprim\u00e9e de la bouteille d&rsquo;eau min\u00e9rale ou la mati\u00e8re tortueuse des couverts du <em>D\u00eener<\/em> se r\u00e9p\u00e8tent avec la nettet\u00e9 du journal et le volume des pommes.
