Mais c&rsquo;est un endroit connu.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.diesbach.com\/sghcf\/g\/grenette.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La nouvelle Grenette<\/a><br \/>\nEn 1947, un comit\u00e9 d\u2019initiative compos\u00e9 de commer\u00e7ants et d\u2019habitants du quartier du Bourg lance l\u2019id\u00e9e de remplacer le v\u00e9tuste immeuble de la Grenette par un b\u00e2timent attractif plus adapt\u00e9 aux besoins du moment. Cette id\u00e9e se concr\u00e9tise le 27 avril 1950 par la cr\u00e9ation de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 immobili\u00e8re La Grenette dont le but est de construire puis d\u2019exploiter les nouveaux b\u00e2timents.<br \/>\nLe nouvel \u00e9difice est l\u2019\u0153uvre des architectes L\u00e9onard Denervaud (1889-1955), Albert Cuony et Marcel Colliard et des ing\u00e9nieurs Hefti et Brasey. Le restaurant est confi\u00e9 \u00e0 Roger Morel.<br \/>\nLe 5 mars 1955,\u00a0 la nouvelle Grenette est inaugur\u00e9e et un banquet officiel est servi en pr\u00e9sence des autorit\u00e9s religieuses et civiles. \u00ab Chacun se plut\u00a0 \u00e0 relever que le nouvel \u00e9difice aux lignes sobres et harmonieuses a rendu \u00e0 la place de Notre-Dame son visage traditionnel et que ses constructeurs ont su allier en lui le confort moderne\u00a0 et le cachet de l\u2019anciennet\u00e9 \u00bb.<br \/>\nLe restaurant, la terrasse, et la grande salle du premier, ont longtemps \u00e9t\u00e9 tenus par Pius B\u00fcrgisser.
